Autumn Sky

It sways in air with its elegant glow
Painted in deep blue and sprayed with feint white
The crisp September wind begins to blow
And freshens my room bathed in warm sunlight.
Soon the brightest star of all rises high
Its dazzling rays stretch across the town
Blinding tendrils brush aside morning sky
and shine, dressed in velvety orange gown.
With the curtain of dusk descending on land
Silvery moon shyly unveils its beauty
Summoned stars embroider the sky with strands
Gentle snores resonate in streets, performed tutti.
Here in a meadow I stand very small,
Silhouetted in the picture of a night fall.
